Usage Policy

With the passing into law of the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 it is illegal to send unsolicited commercial electronic messages (spam) with a New Zealand link (i.e. messages sent to, from or within New Zealand).

It is our responsibility under the new law to defer people from using the Sumo Email Campaign Management System (Sumo) inappropriately. With this in mind we have asked our lawyers to prepare a simple checklist to govern your usage of the application.

In order to use Sumo we require all new account holders to confirm to us that they are aware of the new law and that they have taken the necessary steps to ensure that any use by them of Sumo complies with the new legislation.
